《伊苏8》保持了系列一贯的水准，是上乘之作。本作让玩家体会到了一步步从无到有建设新家园的成就感，也让玩家体会到了慢慢揭开故事真想的满足感，似乎本作真有了点“冒险”的味道，不是一路过关斩将和基友双飞目送美人归，而是寓于一些很日常的设定。至于如何同系列的爽快感相兼顾，那就是falcom要思考的事情了
